Hollywood is unusually well placed between Burbank and LAX. Hollywood Burbank Airport is often the quicker choice for domestic flights, especially if you travel light. The Metro B Line runs through the neighborhood and connects toward North Hollywood, which can help you avoid traffic on parts of the journey. LAX remains the main gateway for international travel. Since traffic through this part of the city is hard to predict, allow extra time, particularly on weekday afternoons and event nights.

Planning a first trip to Armenia
If this is your first visit, give yourself at least a week. Yerevan deserves a few days, and day trips reach Garni, Geghard, Khor Virap and Lake Sevan with ease. Late spring and early autumn are the most comfortable times, while summer is hot but full of life. Flights from LAX connect at least once, and many arrive in Yerevan very early in the morning, so arrange your pickup in advance.
